Painter’s Brief:
Described as a ‘modern conceptual expressionist’, Kinda Barazi was
born in 1967, USA, to parents of Syrian descent. She spent her first
few years in Lebanon, and later moved back to America where she
graduated in the field of Advertising Design from Marymount
University, Virginia.
After a long career as an Art Director at prominent
ad agencies and associations in NYC, she moved to Tehran, Iran, where
she had her first digital art exhibition at Gallery Seyhoun. Kinda has
since exhibited in UNESCO, and twice at Gallery Surface Libre,
Lebanon, participated in a group exhibition in NYC and a private
exhibition in VA. The artist’s artwork is highly influenced by her
conceptual design background in advertising, and is often composed
with bright attractive mediums.
